If you have problems downloading this file please turn off your anti-virus temporarily. 


If reinstalling does not solve the problem then it will be neccessary to completely remove all parts of the BDE as follows, before reinstalling.


Uninstalling the BDE


Delete the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Common files\Borland Shared If you are running a 64bit Operating System is will be Program Files(x86).


Run the Windows Registry Editor. Click on Start > Run > In the run box type regedit and click on OK (the run box can be accessed by holding in the Windows button and the "R" button on your keyboard).

Browse to the following directory:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Borland]. 

Now delete the whole "Borland" directory.

 

Run BDEonlysetup.exe

Follow the prompts and finish the installation. You should now be able to open your software.

If you do not see your data you will have to do the following:

Go to Tools > Data Folders. Select the Data Folder e.g. "KUDU". Click on "Change Path". Point it to the data folder in the programs directory e.g. C:\mtm2\Kudu\Data. Click on "Set as Current" than OK.

You should now see your data.
